Meeting brings together Ilham Ahmed, Mazloum Abdi with Nechirvan Barzani in Munich

The commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, and the co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration, Ilham Ahmed, met with the president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany.

This meeting comes as part of a series of intensive meetings held by the Rojava delegation in Munich over the past few days, during which they met with a number of international officials and representatives of countries participating in the Security Conference.

These meetings focused on the latest developments in the Syrian situation, the future of the political process, and the importance of protecting the gains made in the regions of North and East Syria. They also discussed counterterrorism efforts and the promotion of regional stability.

The meetings collectively emphasized the importance of a political solution to the Syrian crisis, preserving the unity of Syrian territory, and guaranteeing the rights of all components of Syrian society within a democratic framework that achieves security and stability, while affirming the Kurdish people's privacy in their regions.
