The meeting that brought together the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and officials of the transitional government in Damascus has concluded. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the issue of military integration and was attended by the commander of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve. Details are expected to be announced later.

The meeting between the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces and officials of Syria’s transitional government concluded in the capital, Damascus, within the framework of discussions related to the military integration file.

The SDF Media Center noted that the outcomes of the meeting between the two sides will be published at a later time.

Representing the SDF at the meeting were the General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi; member of the SDF General Command, Sozdar Haji; and member of the SDF General Command, Siban Hamo.

The SDF Media Center reported earlier today that the meeting was held in Damascus.

According to our agency’s observations, Brigadier General Kevin J. Lambert, Commander of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, also participated in the meeting.
