The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and the Co-Chair of the Foreign Relations Department of the Autonomous Administration, Ilham Ahmed, held a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

During the meeting, according to the SDF Media Center, the delegation expressed its gratitude to President Macron for France’s continued support, particularly its efforts to promote a ceasefire and enhance stability. The importance of ongoing international support was also emphasized to ensure the implementation of the January 29 agreement and the completion of its provisions in a way that serves the path toward integration and stability in Syria.

For his part, President Macron affirmed that France will continue its work and efforts in this regard, praising the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces in combating terrorism and promoting security and stability in the region.
