Massive protests in NE Syria denouncing genocidal attacks

Several activities were launched a short while ago denouncing the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the NE Syria, between massive marches and statements in several cities and districts in the region.

Thousands of people from the region participate in the activities within their cities and districts, along with representatives of political parties, representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and representatives of civil society institutions, especially humanitarian and human rights organizations.

Participants in the events carried pictures of Leader Ocalan, pictures of the martyrs of the Turkish bombing, pictures of targeted infrastructure sites, and banners reading “No to the Turkish occupation,” “No to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria,” and “Turkey is committing war crimes.”

The throats of participants, echoed with chants of “Resistance is life,” “No to the Turkish occupation,” and “We will stay and we will not leave.”

In Manbij Canton, the people of the city of Manbij and its villages went out in a condemnatory march from Al-Dalo Roundabout, and were scheduled to stop at Al-Dalah Roundabout.

In the Euphrates Canton, the people of the city of Kobani and its countryside took out a condemning march from Women’s Square, and are scheduled to stop in Martyr Agid Square.

In Jazera Canton, the people of the city of Qamishlo marched from the Sony roundabout, and the march of the people of the Amuda district started from the Free Women’s Square, and in the Tirbespiye district the march began in front of the People’s Assembly building, and in the Çil Agha district it started from the Dalah roundabout, and in the Girke Lagê district it started from the Martyr Khabat roundabout, and in Al-Darbasiya, the march took place in front of the Haji Sultan Mosque.

The denouncing marches coincide with statements being made in Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, and Tabqa Cantons by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Jazera Canton and civil society institutions.
