Lecture in Ain Issa about Leader Ocalan’s resistance

The Federation of Municipalities in the Euphrates Canton organized the lecture today in the meeting hall of the city council. It focused on the ideology and resistance of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, his call for peace, and the current political circumstances in the region. The lecture was attended by members of the municipal committees affiliated with the Ain Issa City Council (Ain Issa, Al-Jurn, Al-Heisha, and Al-Sharika municipalities), the Co-chair of the Federation of Municipalities in the Euphrates Canton, Nisrin Sheikh Kayad, and the Co-chair of the Transportation Administration in the Euphrates Canton, Dilkhwaz Najib.

Dilkhwaz Najib, the Co-chair of the Transportation Administration, began the lecture by reviewing the developments in the region, particularly after the fall of the Ba'ath regime and the emergence of the Autonomous Administration project as a solution for Syria's future. He also addressed the “Peace and Democratic Society” call made by Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the obstruction of peace efforts by the Turkish occupation state.

A short documentary was then shown, highlighting the life and resistance of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the current challenges that require the collective efforts of all segments of society, especially women, to establish peaceful coexistence and a life of freedom and democracy.
