The Lebanese Army denied the entry of armed persons or its withdrawal from the Bekaa Border, affirming the continuation of security operations and calling for accuracy and avoiding misleading rumors.

The Lebanese Army denied today the validity of reports circulating about the entry of armed persons into Lebanese territory or its withdrawal from border areas in the Bekaa region.

The Army Command said in a press statement published on its X platform page: "Further to previous statements, the Army Command denies what is being circulated on a number of social media sites regarding the entry of armed persons into Lebanon and the withdrawal of the army from border areas in the Bekaa."

The statement added that "the relevant military units continue to carry out their regular missions to control the Lebanese-Syrian border, in addition to monitoring the security situation internally to maintain stability and prevent any threat to civil peace."

The Army Command called on the media and citizens to "exercise accuracy in reporting news related to the army and the security situation, to act responsibly, and to avoid spreading rumors that could cause anxiety among citizens."
