Leader Ocalan: Understanding Democratic Republic will benefit everyone

The Imrali delegation recently revealed the content of its first meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan, following the formation of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Parliamentary Committee, which was recently announced within the Turkish Parliament, to resolve the Kurdish issue and in response to the leader's call for "peace and a democratic society."

According to the statement, Leader Abdullah Ocalan said, "The problem we face has become so serious that it requires special surgical intervention." He explained that they are handling the process with this sensitivity, and that we have succeeded in bringing it to this day. He stated that our goal is to do everything in our power to end this painful phase.

He added, "A democratic society, peace, and integration are the three main concepts of this process, and its results can be achieved on this basis." He noted the need to take immediate steps at all levels to achieve this goal and emphasized the need to begin a new phase

During his meeting with the delegation, Leader Abdullah Ocalan emphasized that he "has always favored a democratic republic and integration based on a democratic society," adding that "understanding and embracing this strategic step will benefit all of us and Turkey."

Leader Abdullah Ocalan noted that some political and media circles are simplifying or ignoring this process, stressing that such an approach is detrimental to the process.

The statement indicated that during the meeting, Leader Abdullah Ocalan renewed his belief in eternal friendship between peoples and in peace.
