Jefin Habib, a member of the Union of Intellectuals in Amuda city in Jazira Canton, confirmed that the Kurdish people have faced a systematic plan aimed at targeting them and erasing their identity. She noted that this plan had international dimensions, with certain powers and international organizations seeking to completely eliminate their existence. However, she stressed that these challenges and hostile moves did not break the Kurdish will; rather, they became a strong incentive to unify their ranks across the four parts of Kurdistan. Rojava, she said, has become a symbol of freedom and the key to Kurdistan’s resurgence, marking a decisive phase in defending Kurdish identity and preserving its existence.

She added that the Kurdish people have never retreated from defending their land, defying all forces that sought to undermine them. They have proven that when united, no force on earth can break their will, and that defending Rojava is a defense of all Kurdistan. She explained that this unity has not been merely military resistance but has evolved into popular and political awareness that has led Kurds to demand their rights in the constitution and to affirm that living with dignity and freedom is not a luxury but a legitimate right and duty.

She pointed out that the unification of the Kurdish ranks has had a profound impact on all levels of struggle, becoming a guarantee for the survival of the Kurdish people and the defense of cities and areas that remain occupied.

She emphasized that the restoration of these cities must proceed through legal channels and legitimate negotiations, while preserving Kurdish national unity and strengthening its political and social presence.

She further stressed that the resonance of Kurdish unity has reached the entire world, becoming a symbol of unity under one flag, one language, and a unified Kurdish umbrella.

She noted that any attempts to annihilate the Kurds in one part of Kurdistan constitute a threat to them in all other parts. She explained that the uprisings carried out by Kurds across different parts of Kurdistan in defense of Rojava have become a strong foundation for building the Kurdish people’s future and a basis for achieving legitimate rights.

She concluded by calling for the continuation of the Kurdish people’s struggle and the escalation of resistance across political, social, and cultural fields, stressing that rights will only be attained through persistence and determination, and that defending Rojava and the rest of Kurdistan remains an ongoing duty for future generations to ensure a free and dignified life for all Kurds within the framework of the Syrian constitution.
