The Political Bureau of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria issued a statement today expressing its categorical rejection of the actions of the transitional government in Syria, which has not adhered to the terms of the March 10, 2025 agreement with the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

The party stated that the transitional administration has formed a single-party government and people's council, and has refused to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) as an independent bloc. It also rejects political and ethnic pluralism and obstructs the return of displaced persons to areas occupied by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, the "National Army."

The party stressed the need to continue negotiations and support the integration of the SDF into the Syrian Ministry of Defense as a national force that enjoys the confidence of the international community.

The party also emphasized the importance of a decentralized and federal system as a democratic solution for a multi-component Syria.

The party pointed to the role of direct Turkish pressure, which sought to abort the negotiations in Damascus, despite the presence of representatives from the United States and France. It expressed regret over the statements of US envoy Thomas Barrack, which it considered negative toward the official US position.

The party demanded the safe and dignified return of the displaced from Afrin, Serekaniye, and Gire Spi, and called on all components of North and East Syria to unite around the Autonomous Administration and the SDF.
