Today, Wednesday, the Documentation Center published a report detailing violations committed by mercenary groups allied with the Turkish occupation state against Kurdish citizens in occupied Afrin, aiming to seize their homes.

One citizen, Mohammed Mustafa Ali, and his mother, Zeinab Sheikho Mustafa (85 years old), were subjected to a vicious assault by "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" mercenaries, resulting in Zeinab suffering from a brain hemorrhage. She was rushed to the hospital where her condition remains unstable. However, the Turkish state refuses to allow her to enter its hospitals for necessary treatment.

The devastated family is from Jala village in Rajo district, rural Afrin. The assault occurred due to mercenaries attempting to seize their home and property. Additionally, their son, Ahmed Mohammed Mustafa (14 years old), and citizen Mohammed Ali Khalafan (43 years old) were kidnapped in coordination with "Jaysh al-Islam" mercenaries to blackmail the family, preventing them from filing complaints or speaking to human rights organizations to expose the crime.

 Another assault incident in Afrin:

In a separate incident, citizen Ghassan Dawood, known as "Abu Barkat" (40 years old), was brutally attacked by mercenaries from the "Al-Mu'tasim Billah Brigade", originating from the city of Al-Rastan. The attack occurred at the entrance to eastern Afrin, where Abu Barkat was severely beaten with sticks, resulting in head injuries and a broken arm. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

The assault came after Abu Barkat demanded the evacuation of his home, which had been seized since 2018. This incident highlights the deteriorating situation in Afrin, where residents suffer ongoing violations of their rights by mercenaries.
