K.Star recalls martyrs of Qaraçox

On the seventh anniversary of the Qaraçox crime over theTurkish air attack on Mount Qaraçox on April 25, 2017, the Kongra Star issued a written statement which read,

“In the name of the Kongra Star Council, we commemorate the seventh anniversary of the martyrs of Qaraçox and all the martyrs of the Freedom Revolution, and we bow in reverence and honor to their pure souls.

On April 25, 2017, warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish state attacked Qaraçox, and it led to martyrdom 20 male and female fighters.

These attacks transparently target these gains, especially the Nation’s Democratic Project, which unites all components under a democratic umbrella that carries justice and social equality and gives the pioneering role to women.

Until now, the occupying Turkish state has not stopped its illegal and inhumane violations against the regions of NE Syria, and it is even trying to extend its occupations to more than one country in the Middle East.

We remember all the martyrs of Qaraçox with pride and honor because until the last moment they fought that dark terrorist force (ISIS), as well as their media comrades, in addition to the internationalists and internationalists who joined the ranks of the YPG those who sacrificed everything they had for the sake of human values and bringing people to freedom.

On this painful anniversary, once again, we stand with all respect to recall the male and female martyrs. We also call on the people and those who yearn for freedom to cast their votes in the municipal elections, which are considered one of the complementary steps to direct democracy, and this will be a good reply to the policies of the Turkish state aimed at breaking the will of the resisting people.

We at Kongra Star renew our permanent pledge in following footsteps of the male and female martyrs, as we know that Qaraçox is the authenticity of history and authentic culture, and its authenticity has increased with the blood of these martyrs.
