Kobanî University participates in seminar on Syria’s future at University of Turin, Italy

As part of a series of tours undertaken by the delegation across Germany and Europe, a delegation from Kobanî University participated in an international seminar organized by the University of Turin, Italy, titled "Where is Syria Heading?" The event attended by a distinguished group of academics and researchers from various countries was held in response to an official invitation from the organizers.

The university was represented at the seminar by Co-chair Sharvan Muslim and the Director of the Relations Office, Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud. Discussion sessions addressed the political, social, and economic transformations in Syria, as well as future prospects and the challenges facing the country at various levels.

During the seminar proceedings, Sharvan Muslim delivered a lecture titled "Academic Integration and the Experience of Higher Education Institutions in North and East Syria." In it, he outlined Kobanî University’s vision for developing the higher education sector and highlighted key academic experiences and initiatives in the region, emphasizing the importance of fostering scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise with international universities and institutions.
