Kobani residents affirm their support for call of leader Abdullah Ocalan

Leader Abdullah Ocalan confirmed thru his message that the transition to democratic integration requires peace laws.

During the event, a message from leader Abdullah Ocalan was read, and then Jihad Hassan, a member of the Democratic Society Movement in Kobani, spoke and explained: "We send our greetings to leader Abdullah Ocalan and draw our strength from his steadfastness and resistance." As a people and as organizations, we received and supported his call for peace and a democratic society with all our will. And we renew our pledge once again and affirm our support for his call.

After the speech, member of the Hela Zerin Movement, Sherin Ararat, performed several revolutionary songs, followed by folk dances.

The event concluded with the chant: "Resistance is life."
