Kobani march demands physical freedom of Leader Ocalan

Under the slogan "With the call for peace and a democratic society, we will guarantee the physical freedom of the leader," hundreds of residents of the Euphrates canton, members of autonomous administration institutions and bodies, and women's organizations marched in the city of Kobani today.

The march began at the city's Free Women's Square, and participants carried pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and chanted slogans such as "No life without the leader. It's time for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The march stopped at the Al-Salam Roundabout and turned into a public meeting, which began with a moment of silence. Then, a member of the Kongra Star Coordination in the Euphrates canton, Khunav Khalil, delivered a speech, conveying the greetings of the people of the Euphrates canton to Leader Abdullah Ocalan and demanding his physical freedom.

Khunav Khalil pointed out that this process is existential, and that everyone must work harder to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. She said, "Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been fighting in Imrali Prison for more than 26 years, and we, as a people, must wage a strong struggle for the physical freedom of the Leader. Our first demand is his physical freedom. We will not be free unless he is free."

The march concluded with the chanting of the slogans "No life without the Leader" and "Long live Leader Abdullah Ocalan."
