Kobani captives' families demand Interim Govt. to release their sons

During the attacks launched by the Syrian Interim Government's factions on areas of North and east Syria, news from some SDF fighters was lost, while others were captured by those factions.

In this context, families of captives and missing persons organized an event on Friday in Free Women's Square in Kobani city, demanding the release of their sons.

The families participating in the event spoke to ANHA agency, as Berivan Osman, whose husband went missing in the Syrian Interim Government factions' attacks in the Deir Hafer area, said: "My husband has been missing for 48 days. We came here for our captives and martyrs. Our main demand is that the Syrian Interim Government's forces release them. I haven't received any news about my husband yet. We've had enough of this injustice and pain."

Sherivan Mohamed also indicated that her brother had been captured, adding: "My brother's name is Walid Mohamed. He has been a captive for a long time, and there is no information about him. We want our captives to return home. The Syrian Interim Government must release them. We can't take any more."

 For her part, Christine Mohamed stressed that everyone must demand the release of the captives, and said: "Our sons are our existence, and we will always remain in the squares for their sake, and demand their return."
