KNK congratulated on occasion of Easter and praises spirit of unity and resistance

The Executive Council of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) directed a congratulatory message on the occasion of Easter, in which the Assyrian, Syriac, Chaldean peoples congratulated the peoples and all Christian believers on this holy occasion.

It was stated in the text of the telegram:

"Today is the day of Eid, the day of the uprising, the Day of Resurrection, Easter. In this historical stage that the peoples of Mesopotamia and Kurdistan are going through, we celebrate this occasion with great joy, and we offer warm congratulations to all our Christian components."

It pointed out that the peoples of Kurdistan are currently going through a fateful stage, and that the revolutions of peoples against injustice and occupation began to be heard around the world, stressing that Easter can be a source of strength, will and common resistance to build an equal society that prevails in justice and common life.

KNK concluded its congratulations by saying: "As the Kurdistan National Congress, we bless the Easter for all Christians, and all the peoples of Kurdistan and the world, and we hope that this holiday will be a message of peace and safety that prevails in the whole world and our beloved country."
