KID congratulates on occasion of Eid al-Fitr

In his statement, Mullah Muhammad Al-Gharzani conveyed his best wishes to the people of North and East Syria, Syria, and the Islamic world on the advent of Eid al-Fitr.

In an interview with ANHA agency, he remarked:

" We pray to Almighty God to grant security and stability to our people in North and East Syria, Syria, and the entire world."

 Al-Gharzani further noted that "this marks the first Ramadan we observe without the rule of the dictatorial Ba'ath regime, which, for fifty years, committed various violations and crimes against the people. Thus, we urge both the Syrian government and the Syrian people to move beyond the past and rebuild what the Ba'ath regime destroyed—having divided the people and sown discord among them. We have witnessed this since the onset of what was called a revolution, which, regrettably, devolved into internal conflicts and bloodshed among compatriots."

 He emphasized that "the only solution to these conflicts lies in reconciliation, fraternity, and mutual acceptance," citing the words of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." He added, "We are all prone to error, as the Prophet said, 'Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent.'”

 Moreover, Al-Gharzani affirmed that "all Syrian communities have the right to live in security and peace together, as nations cannot be built upon sectarian, ethnic, or ideological conflicts, but rather through cooperation among all components, ensuring that each group serves as a guardian of security and stability for the other."

 He further clarified that "there is no doubt that all the conflicts that have erupted in Syria have ultimately failed due to an authoritarian mindset that refuses to acknowledge others." He stressed that "the solution is in embracing pluralism, as this homeland is vast enough for everyone. Therefore, we call upon all Syrians to rise to the level of responsibility required in this critical phase."
