KCK to Conference on Kurdish Unity: We will always, forever support you

The activities of the "Conference on the Unity of the Kurdish Stance and Ranks in Rojava Kurdistan" kicked off with the participation of more than 400 figures from Rojava, as well as from North and South Kurdistan, along with personalities from various Syrian regions and representatives of Kurdish and Kurdistani parties and forces.

During the conference, Foza Yousif, a member of the Presidential Body of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), read the message from the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK), which included the following:

"In the name of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the People's Defense Forces, we congratulate this historic initiative. The Kurdistan Revolution and the Rojava Revolution, which began in July 2012 against the Ba'athist regime and ISIS, were achieved through the efforts of the sons and daughters of the people, and we bow in respect to this struggle.

This revolution will prevail, for Leader Abdullah Ocalan dedicated his life to the victory of the revolution and has been resisting in Imrali prison for 26 years.

The Kurds are struggling to achieve freedom, and Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s call is the first call for peace. The people of Rojava welcomed this call wholeheartedly, and we salute the Kurdish and Kurdistani parties and forces that responded positively to this call.

The tasks of this conference are to achieve and protect what the Kurdish people accomplished in the Rojava Revolution. These achievements are achievements for all of Kurdistan and must be regarded as such.

We will achieve national unity throughout Kurdistan, for the unity of ranks in Rojava will pave the way for all Syrian people to conclude similar national agreements. The unity of ranks that you are about to announce will fulfill the hopes and rights of the Kurdish people. On this basis, we wish you success in your work and will always and forever support you."
