K. Star: Physical freedom of Leader is prerequisite for peace

As part of the campaign demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, K. Star held a mass gathering for the people of Girkê Legê at the Aram Tigran Center for Culture and Art in the town of Rmelan in Jazira Canton, with the participation of locals, members of K. Star, and representatives of civil society institutions.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, followed by a speech delivered by Samira Youssef, a member of the K. Star Education Committee. She emphasized the pivotal role of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in the women's liberation movement, noting that his ideas have served as a foundational base for the advancement and organization of women within society.

Samira Youssef stated: "Leader Abdullah Ocalan has taken upon himself the project of peace and the building of a free, democratic society. Ensuring his physical freedom today has become an urgent necessity for bringing about real transformation in the structure of society."

She added: "We are all indebted to Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and it is our duty to struggle and resist until his full freedom is achieved."

The meeting also included a video screening presenting Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s philosophy on women's freedom and the democratic nation project, which highlights the importance of societal organization and the role of women within it.

The gathering concluded with chants reaffirming commitment to Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s ideology and calling for his physical freedom: “No life without the Leader.”
