Jurists and politicians from the Euphrates region discussed the plans of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, as well as the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces against these attempts.

Attorney Mustafa Sheikh Muslim highlighted the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state on Tishreen Dam and the surroundings of Qaraqozak Bridge, stating:

"Since the downfall of the Assad regime, the Turkish occupation state has sought to expand its occupation. This effort has been met with SDF historic resistance for days."

Sheikh Muslim added that the Turkish occupation state's aim is to seize more Syrian territory, control the future of the Syrian people, and oppose the rights of the residents of NE Syria. He continued:

"The occupation and its mercenaries always attempt to deny our existence and break our will, but the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces has thwarted all the plans and scenarios of the Turkish occupation."

He further stated:"This resistance will continue until a democratic Syria is established, one that embraces all components of the Syrian people based on the principle of coexistence."

Sheikh Muslim emphasized that all residents of Kobani are acting with a spirit of responsibility.

"The Turkish Occupation State Violates Human Rights Standards"

Bakr Haj Issa, the member of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates Canton, affirmed that NE Syria is facing brutal attacks.

"The Turkish occupation state carries out all its malicious plans against our people, violating human rights standards, targeting journalists, ambulance crews, and the region's infrastructure," Bakr Haj Issa said.

"We will protect our achievements alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces. Today, the fighters are demonstrating resistance befitting the sacrifices of our people, as this resistance is for existence and is sustained through the unity of all components of our people," Bakr Haj Issa added.

Haj Issa called on all societal groups to support the resistance and adopt a spirit of responsibility during this critical phase. He concluded:"We must preserve the legacy of our martyrs and the resistance of Kobani."
