The Israeli army said in a statement today: "Urgent warning to the residents of Lebanon in the following towns and villages: Marwaniyeh, Loubieh, Midoun, Ansariyeh, Zifta, and Tuffahta."

The statement added: "In light of Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army is forced to act against it forcefully. The IDF does not intend to harm you."

The Israeli army continued: "For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move to the area north of the Zahrani River. Anyone who is near Hezbollah operatives, facilities, or weapons is putting their life at risk!"

Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli army asked Lebanese residents in the towns and villages of Mefdoun, Shoukin, and Zibdine (Nabatieh) to move north of the Zahrani River.
