Under the slogan "The freedom of peoples is the freedom of the leader; together, let us continue the march for freedom," the Body of Martyrs’ Families and War Wounded and Prisoners in Raqqa Canton organized a mass march to demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah ÖOcalan.

The march began in front of the former children's hospital, west of Raqqa city, with participants raising images of leader Abdullah Ocalan and flags of the martyrs' families, chanting slogans such as "Long live leader Ocalan, down with Erdogan, down with the international conspiracy, freedom for leader Abdullah Ocalan."

Upon reaching the Free Woman Square in the city center, participants observed a moment of silence. Then, Dima Al-Hamoud, the co-chair of the Body of Martyrs’ Families and War Wounded and Prisoners in Raqqa, delivered a speech in which she affirmed that the Turkish occupation state continues to fight against democratic projects, especially the democratic nation project proposed by leader Abdullah Ocalan to achieve peace, security, and coexistence for all components of the region, through the imposition of a system of torture and extermination.

Dima Al-Hamoud emphasized: "The aim of the Turkish occupation is to break the will of the peoples and to sabotage the democratic nation project and the brotherhood of peoples. This is evident through the brutal bombardment of the infrastructure of North and East Syria."

She pointed out: "The success of the autonomous administration project built on the ideas of leader Abdullah Ocalan is what has caused Erdogan and the Justice and Development Party to renew their system of torture and extermination, fearing his thoughts and philosophy."

Dima Al-Hamoud concluded her speech by stating: "Today, we, the families of martyrs who sacrificed their most precious belongings and gave everything for the democratic nation project, came to demand that human rights and humanitarian organizations, as well as the international community, ensure the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan. We affirm the continuation of local and global activities for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the end of the system of torture and extermination imposed upon him."

The march concluded with chants of "Long live leader Ocalan" and "Down with the international conspiracy."
