On Monday, the northern Quneitra countryside witnessed Israeli shelling targeting agricultural lands surrounding the village of Taranga with more than 10 mortar rounds. This coincided with an incursion by Israeli forces into the town of Jabata al-Khashab, where they established a temporary checkpoint.

ANHA correspondent reported that the incursion force comprised several vehicles and approximately 20 personnel. No arrests or raids were reported at the time of this report.

This comes amidst escalating Israeli military activity in the Quneitra countryside. On Sunday, an Israeli patrol entered the village of Ruwayhina in the central Quneitra countryside and set up a temporary checkpoint to inspect passersby before withdrawing.

The skies over the southern Quneitra countryside also witnessed intensive Israeli air activity, reflecting ongoing security tensions and repeated incursions in the area.
