Earlier today, southern Syria saw a notable escalation in Israeli military activity, characterized by intense warplane flights over large areas of Daraa, coinciding with the presence of reconnaissance aircraft over the southern countryside of Quneitra, reaching as far as the Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In a related field development, four military vehicles belonging to Israeli forces advanced from within the Golan Heights toward a newly established medical point in the village of Al-Hamidiyah in northern rural Quneitra. No precise information has been made available regarding the nature or objectives of this movement.

These developments come amid a marked increase in Israeli military activity near the border strip, sparking concern and caution among residents in southern areas, in the absence of any official response from the transitional government to these repeated violations.

On July 27, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported an Israeli military patrol, comprising several vehicles, advancing from the Western Tal al-Ahmar base toward the town of Kodnah in southern rural Quneitra, where they set up a temporary checkpoint and began searching vehicles and passersby before later withdrawing.

Additionally, two military vehicles were observed moving from the same base toward the Eastern Tal al-Ahmar area, without any direct interaction with civilians in the vicinity.
