Israeli forces launched a series of new military incursions today in the western countryside of Daraa and the southern countryside of Quneitra, accompanied by movements of military vehicles and the establishment of checkpoints in the area.

According to ANHA correspondent, six Israeli military vehicles advanced into the village of Sayda al‑Golan in southern Quneitra, before withdrawing toward the village of Al‑Hanout and reaching the Tel al‑Saji military base.

In a related development, another military force consisting of 24 vehicles moved between the towns of Tranja and Jubata al‑Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, while a military checkpoint was established between the villages of Ain Dhakar and al‑Maqraz in the western countryside of Daraa.

Last Friday, Israeli forces had already set up a military checkpoint in the Wadi al‑Ruqad area within the Yarmouk Basin west of Daraa, accompanied by troop deployments around the area and reconnaissance drone flights overhead.

Southern Syria has recently witnessed repeated Israeli incursions, coinciding with intense flights of Israeli fighter jets and helicopters, as well as the interception of Iranian missiles in the region.
