Israeli incursion into Yarmouk Basin, house searches

Israeli forces, in four vehicles, entered the village of Jamla in the western Daraa countryside and searched homes, amid heightened tensions among residents and continued military activity in the Yarmouk Basin.

Israeli forces, in four military vehicles, entered the village of Jamla in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside today. They conducted deployments and movements within the village before searching a number of homes.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that no arrests were made during the incursion, amidst heightened tensions among residents as Israeli military activity continues in the area.

The incursion came hours after another Israeli force entered the village, as part of repeated military movements in the Yarmouk Basin and western Daraa countryside.

Earlier, an Israeli force consisting of 10 military vehicles was observed entering through the Tel Abu al-Ghithar gate and heading towards the Saisoun-Jamla road, before entering the village and deploying among its residential neighborhoods, amidst aerial surveillance and field monitoring of the area.
