Israeli incursion into Quneitra, shelling on Daraa countryside 

According to local outlets, Israeli forces advanced on Wednesday into the town of Saida al-Golan in the southern Quneitra countryside, where they conducted search operations inside several homes before withdrawing from the area. 

ANHA correspondent reported that a military patrol entered the town and searched several houses, with no arrests recorded as of the time this report was prepared.

In a related development, Israeli forces shelled agricultural lands located between the towns of Jamla and Saysoun, as well as between Maariya and Abidin in the Yarmouk Basin area west of Daraa province.

ANHA correspondent added that the shelling targeted the agricultural plains in the area, coinciding with a raid by an Israeli force on a house in the village of Maariya in western Daraa countryside, where a young man was detained for several hours before later being released.

These movements come amid ongoing escalation in southern Syria, which has witnessed repeated military incursions, search operations, and artillery shelling targeting agricultural areas in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa in recent days.

Over the past two days, Israeli forces also reportedly advanced into several areas in the Quneitra countryside and set up temporary checkpoints to inspect passersby, while shelling targeted the vicinity of the village of Tarnajah in northern Quneitra countryside.
