Israeli forces advanced into the village of Saida al-Golan in the southern countryside of Quneitra and arrested a local resident after conducting house searches.

On Thursday, Israeli forces entered Saida al-Golan in southern Quneitra countryside with a military patrol consisting of seven vehicles. The forces carried out searches of several homes before arresting one of the village residents.

ANHA correspondent reported that the incursion coincided with the launch of several artillery shells from the Al-Hamidiyah military base toward agricultural lands in the central and northern countryside of Quneitra, with no casualties or material damage reported at the time of writing.

In a related development, the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside witnessed an Israeli incursion on Wednesday night involving two tanks and two military vehicles near the town of Jamla, amid continued military movements in the area in recent days.

Israeli forces also advanced on Wednesday evening into the Al-Hafayer area north of Khan Arnabeh in Quneitra countryside, where they set up a temporary checkpoint and searched passersby before later withdrawing.

These movements come amid continued artillery shelling targeting agricultural lands in the Quneitra and Daraa countryside, as security tensions continue to escalate in southern Syria.
