Israeli army arrests young man in Quneitra

Israeli forces arrested a young man at dawn today in the southern countryside of Quneitra Governorate following a military incursion carried out in the area. This move is part of a series of similar operations witnessed in the governorate in recent periods.

Israeli forces arrested the young man in the area of Mazraat Umm al-Luqus in the southern countryside of Quneitra after entering the area and later withdrawing, according to local sources.

This comes one day after Israeli forces conducted incursions into the villages of Sayda al-Hanut and Jubata al-Khashab in the southern and northern countryside of Quneitra, where they detained five young men for several hours before releasing them.

According to the latest statistics published by Golan FM, Israeli forces have carried out more than 700 incursions into Syrian territory since the fall of the Baath regime, resulting in the arrest of around 197 people, while 43 remain in detention, and several have been transferred to Israeli prisons.
