Israeli Air Force Targets Several Points in Syrian Qusayr Area

A Damascus government agency reported that there is initial news about an Israeli attack targeting the Al-Qusayr area in the Homs countryside.

 For its part, Sham FM Radio reported that a series of explosions occurred on the Syrian-Lebanese border strip deep inside Syria in the Al-Qusayr area, and that the Israeli attack targeted one of the bridges in the village of Al-Jubaniyeh in the Al-Qusayr countryside.

For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights indicated that Israeli warplanes targeted the Al-Dabaa checkpoint, the Al-Mashtal checkpoint, the Al-Daf Bridge, a bridge in the village of Al-Jubaniyeh, and the Al-Hawz Bridge in the Al-Qusayr countryside near the Syrian-Lebanese border, and the dirt road area leading to Shinshar near the missile regiment in the Homs countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has recorded 148 times since the beginning of 2024, during which Israel targeted Syrian territory, 122 of which were air strikes and 26 ground strikes. These strikes resulted in the injury and destruction of about 266 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles. These strikes resulted in the death of 284 soldiers, in addition to wounding 230 others with varying injuries.
