Israel reinvades al-Quneitra countryside, arresting 7 youths

Israeli forces invaded al-Quneitra countryside, arrested seven youths, and conducted raids in al-Asha and al-Asbah, amid residents' concerns and border tensions escalation.

On Wednesday, the situation in al-Quneitra countryside escalated, with Israeli forces invasion into Jabata al-Khashab town, where they raided a house and arrested seven young men, causing widespread panic among residents.

In a parallel move, another military force intruded towards the towns of al-Asha and al-Asbah, south of Quneitra, and carried out extensive search operations in several homes before withdrawing towards the border without making any arrests.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an Israeli military convoy of approximately 12 vehicles entered on Thursday al-Asha village, heading towards al-Asbah village. The convoy set up a military checkpoint inside the village, searching several homes, amid drones hovering over the area.

These developments come amid escalating Israeli military activity near the border strip, which has raised concerns and fear among residents, who warn of further raids amid the absence of any official response from the transitional government to the repeated violations.
