ISIS attacks leave 195 dead in Syrian desert
195 people were killed by ISIS mercenaries in various areas of the Syrian desert since the beginning of 2024.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 195 people were killed by ISIS mercenaries in various areas of the Syrian desert since the beginning of this year 2024.
According to the Observatory, ISIS mercenaries have launched 70 attacks since the beginning of the year within Damascus government forces-held areas through armed attacks, ambushes, bombings, and targeting vehicles.
The dead were: 32 citizens, 141 members of the Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it, and 22 ISIS mercenaries.
More than half of these attacks occurred in the Homs Desert with 33 attacks, Deir Ezzor with 24 attacks, while 6 attacks occurred in the Raqqa Desert and 6 in the Hama Desert, while an attack in the Aleppo Desert.
