ISF - Women's Conference: Protection is Living with Dignity's Foundation 

The Fourth Internal Security Forces - Women's Conference of North and East Syria continues at Serdem Hall in Hasaka City of Jazira Canton. Approximately 600 figures are participating in the conference, among them the conference delegates and members of women's organizations and movements, including Kongra Star, Zenobia Women's Gathering, the Martyrs' Families Council, in addition to representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration.

During the conference, Kocer, the leader in the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), delivered a speech in which she emphasized that the revolution and resistance of women in North and East Syria over the past 14 years has left a sacred historic legacy, documenting the struggle of the revolutionary women against the dark and tyrannical forces, and protecting themselves and their society from the mentality that poses an existential threat to women worldwide.

She added that women in North and East Syria have become an organized philosophy of life through which they work to protect themselves and reinforce their strength. She said, "Every woman is a philosophy."

The leader Kurdistan Kocer stressed the need to strengthen women's struggle to ensure the continuation of free life for all women worldwide who are subjected to abuse, sexual assault, and murder. She called on all women to support the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and the Internal Security Forces - Women (ISF –W) to fulfill their mission, emphasizing, "Protection is the foundation for living with dignity."

In a speech on behalf of the Women's Council of the Martyrs' Families Council in North and East Syria, the administrator Jihan Doku congratulated the convening of the fourth conference, describing it as a "historic milestone" that embodies the women's will and resilience. She made clear that the Internal Security Forces – Women are making peace and change, and that the era of marginalizing women and labeling them as subordinates is over.

She noted that women today have become partners in building administration, leadership, and politics, in addition to shaping the future of democracy. She added, "Society cannot be liberated from tyranny and slavery except through the liberation of women."

Jihan Doku made clear that the Leader Abdullah Ocalan's philosophy was not an abstract theory, but rather a profound bridge through which the peoples of North and East Syria crossed into a new reality embodied by the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom." She emphasized that the July 19th Revolution demonstrated the role of women in confronting the bloodiest and most oppressive regimes, and that freedom was embodied in the women's sacrifices which have become a tangible reality today.

Rehan Loko, the member and coordinator of Kongra Star, also delivered a speech in which she confirmed that the conference came at an exceptional time when history was being written, and that the thought and philosophy of the Leader Abdullah Ocalan gave women the strength, will, and knowledge to lead revolutions and participate in all political, military, and social spheres. She noted that the women's revolution had become a revolution of awareness and knowledge despite the ongoing attacks by tyrannical forces, pointing out that all women in North and East Syria had made the decision to eradicate this mentality via their struggle.

The Women's Council of the Martyrs' Families Council honored the Internal Security Forces - Women's with a commemorative picture of the Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
