The Judicial Elections Authority affiliated with the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council announced, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Shingal genocide committed by ISIS mercenaries, the closure of 3 political parties in Iraq and Southern Kurdistan. They are the Kurdistan Freedom Movement (Freedom Movement), the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party (PADÊ), and the Democratic Struggle Front Party.

A member of the Relations Office in the Syrian Democratic Council, Mohammad al-Hassan, explained that the decision of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council has a political character, and said: "The Iraqi government's decision against the political forces is unjust. These political forces sacrificed thousands of their sons to reach a democratic Iraq."

Mohammed al-Hassan explained that the issuance of this decision shows the intention of regional powers to undermine stability in the region, and the Iraqi government must take this decision into consideration and cancel it, due to the great injustice against those parties that have been struggling for years and resisting ISIS mercenaries.

Al-Hassan noted that Turkey continues to destabilize the region, and is waging a war against the city of Dohuk in southern Kurdistan, and is launching attacks against the gains of the people of the region, and that this position of the Iraqi government is unsatisfactory, and that Iraqis and democratic parties must stand against these decisions; because such decisions bring chaos back to the region once again.

Al-Hassan said: "There is coordination between the Turkish and Iraqi governments regarding this decision, because they realize that there are those who resist those fascist practices practiced by those powers against the people of the region."

Al-Hassan touched on the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and confirmed that its position is negative on the Kurdish issue, and said: "The goal of this is to integrate the Kurdistan Region into an Ottoman emirate."

Mohammed Al-Hassan stressed that increasing the level of resistance against the oppressive and tyrannical forces is the only way to destroy the policies hostile to the peoples of the region who want to live in peace on their historical land.
