The Media Office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement published by Roj news agency: "National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji, reviewed in Brussels during his hosting at the NATO Council, which came at the invitation of the Italian Ambassador to the Alliance, Marco Peronacci, the paths of the government program in the field of foreign policy and strategic priorities for Iraq, and the position on the events taking place in the Middle East."

Al-Araji renewed Iraq's demand for the participants in the dialogue held in the Belgian capital, Brussels, who represent 32 countries, to withdraw their nationals from the Syrian al-Hol Camp due to the great danger posed by the camp's continued existence, in addition to continuing cooperation and partnership with NATO in the field of training Iraqi security forces and benefiting from the alliance's expertise, but without any military or combat units.

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has demanded on more than one occasion that countries with nationals in al-Hol Camp take back their nationals, and the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration handed over batches of ISIS/ Daesh mercenary families to delegations from different countries, according to official delivery documents.
