Yesterday (August 28), the Iranian authorities postponed the hearing in the case of Kurdish activist Warisha Moradi, due to "the absence of the representative of the prosecutor and the counsel of the Amuzda court," according to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network.

This is the second time that the hearing in the Kurdish activist's case has been postponed.

It is worth noting that Warisha Moradi had refused to appear in court, on August 4, to condemn the death sentences issued against both activists Bakhshan Azizi and Sharifa Mohammadi.

The activist Warisha were also beaten and tortured in Evin prison, for protesting with a group of political detainees against the execution of the Kurdish young man Reda Rasayi on August 6, and the Iranian authorities prevented her from providing the necessary aid or transferring her to the hospital.
