In a statement issued today to the public regarding the Turkish occupying state's attacks on the region, the Autonomous Administration explained: "With a mindset of genocide and a policy of elimination, the Turkish occupying state wages its war against our people, attempting time and again to break their determination and resolve to build a dignified life. In full view of the world, Turkey retaliates against our people's efforts and struggle in combating terrorism and dismantling its extremist project."

The Autonomous Administration emphasized that the bombing that occurred in the city of Qamishlo on August 28, which resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians (a mother and her son), and which Turkey and its mercenary groups are behind, "is a new attempt to create chaos, hinder the development of our people's will, and pave the way for the return of ISIS, striving to achieve what it failed to do after its occupation of Afrin, Serê Kaniyê, and Tal Abyad. The goal has always been and remains to eliminate our people's project and displace them."

The Autonomous Administration extended its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs and said: "We remind the world that Turkey's war against our people, its targeting of civilians, infrastructure, and drone strikes are acts of revenge for our people's victory over terrorism, making the world a safer place."

The Autonomous Administration also highlighted the repercussions of the Turkish attacks on the region, stating: "The current movements of ISIS, both within Syria and beyond, are the result of Turkey enabling it by disrupting our people's efforts to combat it." The statement called on international powers to assume their responsibilities, adding, "Therefore, it is incumbent upon the entire world and its legal, humanitarian, and security institutions to urgently put an end to these genocidal Turkish policies."

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria confirmed that the continuation of these attacks impedes efforts for stability, escalates the situation, and pushes the region toward a war from which no one will be spared. "We will continue our historic struggle to achieve our people's aspirations, no matter how much the enemy oppresses us. This tyranny will only increase our determination to remain steadfast on our land and to continue our resistance until victory."
