Introductory meeting between Kobani Municipality, German Municipality

Today, the People's Municipality of Kobani held an introductory meeting via Zoom with the German municipality of Löhne, as a prelude to signing a partnership and future cooperation agreement between the two sides.

The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Kobani, Almaz Rumi, her deputy, Osman Mohammed, and members of the municipality's executive council, Muslim Muslim and Narin Bozo.

Kobani municipality officials emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting infrastructure projects and improving services provided to citizens, in addition to opening new avenues for future cooperation.

For its part, the German municipality expressed its readiness to provide technical support and exchange expertise in several fields, which will contribute to developing municipal work and enhancing local development in the city of Kobani.

The meeting also focused on discussing the current state of public services in Kobani and exploring ways in which the municipality of Löhne could provide support for infrastructure and service development.

The two sides are scheduled to hold further meetings in the coming days to broaden the scope of discussions, prioritize joint projects, and develop implementation plans for the mutual support program.
