Internal Security Forces arrest a leader of ISIS mercenaries
The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria announced the arrest of a leader of ISIS mercenaries in the countryside of Tal Kochar district, in addition to the arrest of drug dealers in Qamishlo and Al-Hasakah.
The official website of the Internal Security Forces - North and East Syria stated that their security forces and Special Forces (HAT) carried out a security operation on the night of Tuesday, November 7, in the countryside of Tal Kochar district, during which they were able to arrest one of the leaders of ISIS cells.
The Internal Security Forces stated that the operation was carried out after obtaining confirmed information about the alleged location of a terrorist cell in the countryside of Tal Kochar district.
In the context of its efforts to pursue and follow up on the files of those involved in narcotic drugs, the Anti-Narcotics Control Department, in partnership with the Operations Forces, carried out several raids in the cities of Al-Hasakah and Qamishlo, where 14 sellers, dealers, and users of narcotic drugs were arrested, in addition to seizing quantities of narcotic substances in their possession.
The Internal Security Forces stated that the operation came as part of a revenge campaign for the 29 martyrs of the anti-drug forces who were martyred in Hamza Bey last month.
