The statement read as follows:

"We, the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo, confirm that over the past 24 hours, the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood was subjected to several attacks by armed factions affiliated with the interim Ministry of Defense. The neighborhood was targeted four times consecutively. These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of three civilians and the wounding of 17 others, and also caused significant property damage.

In accordance with our legitimate right to defend civilians, we responded forcefully to these attacks, targeting two positions belonging to these armed factions.

We affirm that this attack constitutes a new violation of the ceasefire and demonstrates a continued disregard for previous agreements aimed at protecting civilians and ensuring their safety. We, the Internal Security Forces, emphasize that our responses will remain within the framework of the law and the legitimate defense of civilian lives and property. We call upon all parties to respect the rights of civilians and refrain from targeting residential areas."
