Internal Security Forces – Aleppo: Drone shells civilian truck in Aleppo

The Internal Security Forces – Aleppo announced that a civilian truck was attacked this afternoon in the al-Shaqif neighborhood using two suicide “drone” aircraft, resulting in material damage to the vehicle, no casualties were reported.

In a statement, the Internal Security Forces said that this attack by factions affiliated with the transitional government comes as part of a series of repeated violations recorded since the announcement of the ceasefire. They emphasized that such violations constitute a direct threat to the lives and security of civilians, especially within residential areas.

They reaffirmed their full commitment to the signed agreements and the ongoing ceasefire, stressing their absolute rejection of these violations, which represent a clear breach of existing understandings and undermine efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability in the city of Aleppo.

The Internal Security Forces held the Syrian transitional government fully responsible for these violations and their resulting security and humanitarian repercussions, while confirming that they are taking all necessary measures to protect civilians and prevent the recurrence of such attacks in the future.
