Internal regulations of Democratic Peoples Council ratified

During its 120th session, the Democratic Peoples Council in the North and East Syria Region ratified the council's internal regulations and changed the name of the Culture Body into the Culture and Enlightenment Body in the Autonomous Administration.

The Peoples' Democratic Council of North and East Syria held its 120th session on Wednesday in the meeting hall of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Raqqa. The session was attended by the co-chairs and members of the Peoples' Councils in the region's cantons, as well as the co-chairs of the Executive Council.

The session began with holding a minute of silence, followed by the reading of the minutes of the previous session by Yasser al-Sulaiman; the deputy co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Council. The council then approved a proposal submitted by the Executive Council to change the name of the Culture Body into the Culture and Enlightenment Body.

Then, the council discussed its internal regulations, which consist of two chapters and 37 articles, as the deputy co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Council Yasser al-Sulaiman read the regulations and made the necessary amendments.

After the discussion of the amendments concluded, the council members unanimously approved the regulations, which are effective from the date of their approval.
