The Future Syria Party, in cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Council, held a large meeting at the Serdem Hall in Hasaka city, Jazira canton, to discuss the latest political developments in Syria and made clear the current events on the regional arena.

Dozens of city residents, along with representatives from political parties and civil and military institutions participated in the meeting.

The meeting, chaired by Mahmoud al-Muslet; the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, and Hussein al-Azzam; the head of the council's diplomatic relations office began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs.

During the meeting, Mahmoud al-Muslet delivered a comprehensive speech addressing the current political situation in detail. He explained that Syria and the region in general are going through a sensitive and difficult period, requiring a high degree of awareness and solidarity of community elites. He emphasized the need for elders and women to play a role in shaping the future of the homeland.

Al-Muslet continued saying that Jazira canton, with all its diverse components, has a rich history and has faced various forms of terrorism, adding that this meeting comes to emphasize the necessity of building the future of Syria and Jazira together, with all components that were marginalized by the previous regime. He stressed that this must not be repeated in the new Syria that everyone dreams of; Syria rich in its cultural and community diversity.

Al-Muslet pointed out that there are political paths and negotiations being drawn up today regarding the future of Syria, but it is essential that Syrians have an active and pivotal role in formulating this future.
