Internal forces, SDF capture 21 criminals in several crimes

 The Internal Security Forces Media Center issued a statement today regarding the arrest of 21 individuals involved in criminal activities, drug use and trafficking, as well as individuals wanted by the Internal Security Forces and the judiciary in Euphrates Canton. The statement read:

"As part of ongoing efforts to maintain security and stability and combat crime in all its forms, our forces in Euphrates Ca conducted a large-scale search operation in al-Shuyukh district and the villages of al-Qubba and al-Ja'da. This operation was based on confirmed information received by our security services regarding the presence of individuals involved in criminal activities, drug use and trafficking, and individuals wanted by the Internal Security Forces and the judiciary."

The statement added: "In coordination with the Public Prosecutor's Office, a joint security force was formed, comprised of various security departments, along with operations forces and HAT special forces, and with the participation of the Syrian Democratic Forces. During the operation, our forces arrested 21 individuals and seized the following weapons in their possession: 25 Kalashnikov rifles with 61 magazines, 5 German-made Brno rifles, 20 pistols, a box of ammunition, 100 rounds of PK machine gun ammunition, 400 rounds of Russian ammunition, and a quantity of TNT explosive."

The statement further noted: "This operation is part of our national duty to combat crime, eradicate drug trafficking, and pursue all those who threaten the security and safety of society."

It concluded: "We reiterate our commitment to our people to continue carrying out the necessary security operations, in cooperation with the justice and judicial authorities, to ensure the rule of law and consolidate security and stability."
