Interim Govt. delegation expands meetings in Qamishlo; visits K.Star

As part of the political efforts related to the integration process and the implementation of the January 29 agreement, a delegation from the Syrian Interim Government continues its series of visits to political parties and forces in the Jazira region.

The delegation, headed by Hassan Abbas, head of the Political Bureau in Hasakah Governorate, began its tour with a visit to the Democratic Union Party (PYD), where a number of political issues related to the current phase were discussed.

This visit is part of a broader tour undertaken by the delegation to discuss mechanisms for political coordination and steps for integration in the next phase with various forces in the region.

In a related context, the delegation visited the Kurdish National Council in Syria, where they were received by members of the Council's Presidential Board: Muhammad Ismail, Faisal Yusuf, Suleiman Oso, Fasla Yusuf, and Abdul Bari Khalaf.

The tour also included a visit to the Assyrian Democratic Organization, where the delegation was received by the organization's head, Gabriel Moushi, and several members of the leadership. During the meeting, a number of shared political issues were discussed.

In a notable move, the delegation concluded its tour with a visit to the Star Congress in Qamishli, where they were received by the Congress's coordinator, Berivan Khalid, its spokesperson, Reihan Luqo, and Amina Omar, a member of the Women's Council of North and East Syria. This visit indicates a broadening of the scope of meetings to include women's movements and organizations, within the framework of discussing the current political situation and strengthening channels of dialogue with various components of society.
