Intensive 12-hour bombardment of Turkish occupation led to casualties

From yesterday until the dawn hours of today, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries escalated their artillery shelling on various areas of the NE Syria region.

Artillery shelling was more concentrated on the countryside of Manbij, Afrin and Shahba Cantons.

In Manbij Canton, ground shelling affected the villages of "Al-Bogaz, Kawkli, Al-Sayada, Al-Dandaniya, um Adasa, Al-Farat, and Arab Hassan" located in the northern and western countryside of the Canton. As well as the villages of "Tell Turin and Jablet al-Hamra" in the eastern countryside of the city of Al-Bab.

In the Afrin and Shahba Canton, the shelling affected "the village of Halisa, the village of Allousha, the vicinity of the town of Favin, and the city of Tal Rifaat and its surroundings."

The intensive artillery shelling caused the people to remain instable in their homes until dawn today and spread to nearby orchards and fields.

The bombardment of the aforementioned villages, towns and cities continued until the dawn hours of today, witnessing at these moments a cautious calm.

The artillery shelling of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the village of Halisa led to the death of the citizen Muhammad Aref Haj Mahmoud (40 years old), a resident of Jindres in occupied Afrin, and the injury of children Hussein Muhammad Hassan Khalaf (9 years old), Murad Muhammad Haj Mahmoud (14 years old), and Rousel Muhammad Khalaf (13 years old).

Rousel's condition remains critical and her condition is precarious as a result of the serious injuries she suffered.

In the shelling of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the city of Tal Rifaat and its surroundings, 4 other citizens were injured, including a child, and the names of the injured are: "Mousa Hussein Fando, 25 years old, Wael Hussein Fando, 19 years old, Ahmed Muhammad Ali, 23 years old, and the child Haifa Shukri Khalil, 10 years old."

Various websites of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army were published on virtual communication sites owned by them, targeting the aforementioned areas.

The NE Syria region is witnessing almost daily attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, in different ways and methods between air and ground bombardment, and sometimes between infiltration attempts, in addition to waves of air attacks by the Turkish occupation army through its drones and warplanes on the infrastructure in the region from time to time.

On the other hand, the forces of the military councils in each Canton continue to confront these infiltration attempts and protect citizens from targeting and shelling.
