Inspectors from the "Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons" said they suspect the existence of more than 100 chemical weapons sites in Syria.

According to the "New York Times," this figure is the first of its kind, as the "Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons" seeks to enter Syria "to assess what remains of Assad's military program."

The "Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons" believes that there are more than 100 chemical sites in Syria, based on "information received from external researchers, non-profit organizations, and intelligence shared among the member states of the organization." The organization estimates that "many of these sites are hidden in hard-to-find locations, increasing the likelihood that some of them are unprotected."
