The Manbij Military Council's media center reported information about an attack and attempted infiltration by Turkish occupation mercenaries into the countryside of Manbij Canton after midnight, met with a strong response from council fighters.

The center affirmed that fighters of the Manbij Military Council foiled an attempt by Turkish occupation mercenaries to infiltrate the village of Um Jiloud in the northwestern countryside of Manbij Canton.

The center revealed: "At exactly 1:00 on Wednesday, two groups of Turkish occupation mercenaries attacked Um Jiloud village. Due to the vigilance of the Manbij Military Council forces, the mercenaries were spotted and surrounded, leading to clashes on two fronts, which resulted in the thwarting of the attack."

Accompanying the infiltration attempt, the Turkish occupation army shelled the village of Al-Jat in the northeastern countryside with 11 mortar shells and artillery. Additionally, a drone targeted a Damascus government forces' position, resulting in injuries to two government forces members.
