Imrali delegation delivers Leader Ocalan’s messages to Nechirvan Barzani

The meeting between the Imrali delegation and Nechirvan Barzani in Hawler has just concluded. Following the meeting, Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party, Kaskin Binder, gave a brief statement to the press regarding the discussions.

Kaskin Binder stated: “The meeting with Mr. Nechirvan Barzani was extremely fruitful. We conveyed Mr. Abdullah Ocalan’s greetings to Barzani and delivered his messages emphasizing the necessity of finding a political and legal solution to the Kurdish issue. It was a meeting filled with optimism and agreement on the importance of peace and political reform.”

Kaskin Binder further explained: “We believe that if this process succeeds in North Kurdistan and Turkey, it will have a positive impact on the future of the Kurdish people in all regions. We have great hope that these efforts will contribute to achieving a comprehensive solution to the Kurdish issue in the region, which is the aspiration of all Kurdish people.”

He added: “We believe that this process will be an important step towards a final solution. All Kurdish parties agree that there is a need to unite efforts and support this initiative collectively. President Nechirvan Barzani affirmed his full support for this process and expressed his strong endorsement of a political solution that guarantees the rights of the Kurdish people.”

Yesterday, Sunday, the Imrali delegation met with the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, in a meeting that lasted about one hour and 45 minutes. Following their meeting with Nechirvan Barzani, they are scheduled to meet with the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani.

These meetings are part of a series of visits initiated by the Imrali delegation, consisting of Parwin Buldan, Srri Surya Under, Kaskin Binder (Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party), and members of the Foreign Relations Committee and other party officials. These visits follow their meetings with Leader Abdullah Ocalan on December 28, 2024, and January 22, 2025.
