"Humanity and Security" operation in al-Hol continues its 2nd day

The fourth phase of the "Humanity and Security" operation, launched on Friday in and around al-Holcamp, continues its second day with continued combing operations of the camp's sectors.

On September 5th, the Internal Security Forces (ISF), the Internal Security Forces - Women of North and East Syria (ISF-Women), and the Women Protection Units (YPJ), with support from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the International Coalition launched the fourth phase of "Humanity and Security" operation in al-Hawlcamp and its surrounding. The operation aims to protectthe camp residents and ensure the continued safe operation of humanitarian organizations within the camp.

The operation continues on its second day, alongsidesweeps of the camp's sectors, particularly the Migrant Sector, which houses women and children of foreign ISIS mercenaries. Information is being verified, tents are inspected, and various locations within the sectors are being searched with special devices designed to detect weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

On Friday, as the operation began, the Internal Security Forces in North-East Syria found a mine inside Section 5th which includes Migrants.

According to the latest statistics obtained by ANHA agency from al-Hawl camp administration, the total number of the camp residents is approximately 26,539, among them 6,352 are of foreign nationals, 4,933 Iraqis, 15,245 Syrians, and 9 individuals of anonymousparentage.
